Ian was commissioned by David Warr from Cooper’s Coffee Jersey, to decorate the frame of a mirror to reflect Jersey at this unprecedented time. Ian has used hundreds of pieces of driftwood collected from the beaches of Jersey to clad the frame and cut up coloured pencils to spell the words STAY SAFE  BUY LOCAL  2020. Ian is pictured here with David Warr holding the mirror, which reflects shelves made from a pallet board and rows of coloured bottle tops fixed to the wooden cladding outside Ian’s studio.
