Ian can arrange the framing of commission paintings in the solid oak moulding (shown right) which he has specially made exclusively for his own paintings. It is cut on a bandsaw and has a slight ridged surface that is picked up as an irregular stripe when painted and sanded back. The frame has a flat profile and comes in three widths, 40, 30 or 23 mm and can be given a natural sanded finish, waxed, stained, whitewashed or colour washed to suit the painting.
A price guide for framing in this moulding, including standard glass & finished ready for hanging is given below. Please note the size given is that of the painted image and not the frame. When mounted and framed the finished picture will be significantly bigger than the image size.
