… the second art in the environment project with Kerry-Jane Warner was created on the beach at L’Etacq in the area of the exposed peat beds, the last remains of the ancient forest which preceded the beach in St Ouen. Driftwood and broken off clumps of peat were used to create the image of a tree to say a partial good-bye to the ancient peat beds, much of which had been broken up in the storms.
